A beautiful early 1800’s Georgian mourning ring in 9ct rose gold. The ring features plaited hair under glass in the centre which is surrounded by seed pearls. There is some scratching on the glass, which makes it hard to photograph the plated hair. The band has a repair consisting of an additional metal inner band but it does not detract from the design of the ring. The size of the ring is L or 5 3/4 and it weighs 3.7 grams.
